since our products are small batch and hand made we have some much useful tips to ensure your textiles keep their charm for as long as possible.

tip number one is to always peep the tag located on the item itself. this will give you a baseline on how the product can be washed. we always advise to hang dry all items and never put them in the dryer.

the inks we use for block printing can fade slightly over time, so the less you wash it, the more vibrant it will stay. we see this as an all around positive at LMD. the texture and handmade feel provided by certain production methods is oh so worth it. and introducing the habit of washing something only if it really needs it is great for saving water and diminishing microplastics if the product is not Made fully of organic materials (nylons and polyester).
